Faith, Hope & Victory Christian Church are committed members who strive faithfully to serve Jesus Christ and others have enabled the church’s light to shine brightly within the community in order that others may see our good works thereby glorifying our Father which is in heaven.
Faith, Hope & Victory Christian Church was established on Sunday, November 1, 1998 in the Chapel of McCray’s Funeral Home. Since its establishment F.H.V. Christian Church continues to grow spiritually and numerically under the leadership of God, its Pastor AnThony E. Pelham, Associate Pastor Leon Wright and Ministerial Team which includes Minister’s Diane Barnes, Joel Harris, Aaron Massey, Nicholas Mitchell, Juwaun Seegars, & Julia Truesdale. Committed members who strive faithfully to serve Jesus Christ and others have enabled the church’s light to shine brightly within the community in order that others may see our good works thereby glorifying our Father which is in heaven.
F.H.V. Christian Church is a church dedicated to fulfilling the Biblical Word. We strive to accomplish this by exemplifying the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide worship experiences, bible studies and programming which ministers to situations and circumstances in our communities and environments that we live, work and play in.
We strive to transform the lives of adults, youths and young adults through teaching life application of the Bible and maintaining a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to reach out to all people regardless of their race, creed, nationality or church affiliation.
We Believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Bible and the Holy Spirit alone hold the answer-key to all of life’s problems, dilemmas and circumstances. (Romans 10:9 & 10, John 3:1-21)
We Believe in water Baptism as an outward sign to that of an inward change. This change is symbolized publicly before all believers in Jesus Christ through sprinkling or immersion of water (Acts 2:38 and Romans 6:3&4).
We Believe and celebrate the Holy Communion as a remembrance of what Jesus Christ did for all who profess him as their Lord and Savior. (Matthew 26:26-28, Mark 14:22-24, and Luke 22:14-20).
We Believe in the institution of marriage as a sacred and Holy institution designed & instituted by God. (Matthew 19:4-6 and Mark 10:6-9) NO marriages are performed by the Pastor or Associate Pastor without first successfully completing six (6) two-hour premarital counseling sessions.
Here at FHV Christian Church, we strive to accomplish our mission by exemplifying the life, the Word, and the teachings of Jesus Christ and by providing worship experiences, Bible studies, and programming that ministers to situations and circumstances in our communities and environments that we live, work and play in.
